The morning brew social is a ritual that can increase social connection between you and your team. It is a recurring 15 minute meeting where you invite your direct reports to discuss anything but work. The purpose is connection.

📍 Morning Ritual Pro tips

  • Make it a ritual! Host every other week on the same day and at the same time.
  • Invite your direct reports.
  • Book the calendar invite for 15 minutes only. The shorter time commitment will make it easier for your people to consistently attend.
  • Always end on time. This way your team knows the meeting won’t creep into a longer time.
  • Ensure your team knows the purpose of this meeting is social (ie no need to prep work). Add the purpose “Talking about anything but work!” to the calendar invite.
  • Make notes of important topics that come up (ie birthday, spouse’s name, pets) so you can follow up or celebrate your people in a personalized way.
